What We Do

We wish we had the time to talk to each and every person who visits our beautiful little town and hikes the trail to the falls.  We wish you could all come to our Town Board and Coalition meetings to see and hear the caring and passion we have for our neighborhood, our citizens, and our way of life.

So, what do we do?  Anything and everything we can to reach our goals.  We are willing to give our time and energy toward preserving and protecting Kanarra Creek Canyon, Kanarra Falls, and the surrounding rural atmosphere of the Kanarraville valley.  From public outreach to picking up trash, we are doing whatever it takes to make this an enjoyable experience for you, while at the same time lessening the impact on the environment and community.

Some of our major activities are listed below, but this only scratches the surface of what goes on behind the scenes here in Kanarraville.  We only hope that everyone who visits our community and Kanarra Falls will treat it with the same care and respect that we do.

Outreach and Education

Our goal is to build a strong trail community through cooperation with local agencies and citizen groups.

We strive to protect and preserve this pristine wilderness through our own efforts and by encouraging public involvement.

Safety and Signage

This is a largely undeveloped wilderness area which can sometimes present hazardous conditions.  We are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our visitors at all times.

Water Quality Monitoring

We assist the Town of Kanarraville in monitoring, protecting, and preserving the pure water quality for its inhabitants and local farmers.
