The Kanarra Creek Coalition places the safety and well-being of the general public above all else.  We strive to encourage the most reasonable and prudent uses of this public recreation area to protect our fellow citizens from harm or danger.  Despite our best efforts, accidents can still happen, and we will do everything in our power to be prepared to assist whenever possible.

Our safety efforts include but are not limited to:

  • Basic first-aid training for all of our volunteers
  • Awareness of our surroundings and how to recognize dangerous situations
  • Placement of proper signage
  • Providing helpful information to the public about how to avoid risks
  • Mitigating hazardous conditions whenever possible
